Starling

Starling, aka 66 Monitor, is a mixed-use project developed by Alpine Residential and Fields Grade. The project consists of 39 affordable and market-rate residential units and approximately 3,000 square feet of commercial space.

The distinct façade of the existing building was preserved to reflect the history of the Jersey City neighborhood. Residents will enter into a dramatic double-height lobby space, that celebrates the history of this building by featuring reclaimed trusses and wood finishes, salvaged from its original structure. On the second floor, there is a shared, open amenity space for residents, and a 1,100 SF fitness center. To capture views of the New York City skyline, residents will get to enjoy a 1,400 SF roof top lounge. Additional amenities include a rooftop dog run, supplemental laundry space, part-time lobby attendant, on-site parking, and bike storage.

The commercial spaces will include 'The Roxy" a French restaurant, and Bober Tea, a tea and mochi donut shop.
